I can't believe you didn't let me in on this any sooner. Your prose is just so exquisitely turned, the phrases flowing into each other in melodic counterpart. Like bach. or a babbling brook with a heart of angst. =) i had a crush on Young Sherlock Holmes---you know what I'm talking about. I thought the acidly dry Holmes in the books was sexy in a really perverse way. He's so sexy because he would never ever need you. In *my* perverse mind, he'd just fuck you with---unimpassioned vigor? Becuz he's very passionate, but it's in a very controlled way. His mind is unnaturally focused and sharp. It's almost kind of an S&M longing? maybe, the appeal of the wounded detective (did you ever like Humpfry Bogart?) is also that they're so alone.
